Set in beautiful parkland this venue is very popular. The various courses are predominately made of undulating paths of grass and usually hard soil in open areas for easy spectating in many locations. There is a small wooded section which is where the main climb of the venue is located. The whole course is suitable for spikes however trainers are a good option if the ground is hard which it tends to be at Claybury.

Guest Runners are allowed under Rule 26.

26. Guest runners (i.e. with no affiliation to any of the member clubs) can only be given numbers by the Meeting Manager for a charge of £5 Seniors, £3 Juniors.
